Dr Margaret (Maggie) Li is a consultant specialist in Paediatric Allergy/Immunology.
She grew up in Sydney and obtained her double degree through the Combined Medicine-Science Program at The University of Sydney in 2012. She trained at a multitude of different paediatric and neonatal units across New South Wales and was the general paediatric fellow at the Campbelltown Hospital in 2020 which provided her with a wealth of experience. Maggie completed her specialist training across both Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick and The Children’s Hospital, Westmead. She was awarded her RACP fellowship in 2023.
She is passionate about food allergy research and allergy prevention. Her special interest includes paediatric food allergy, eczema and allergic rhinitis. She also manages a variety of other immune conditions such as recurrent fever syndromes and immunodeficiency.
She is fluent in Cantonese.
Outside of work, Maggie enjoys the odd escape room game when she is not chasing around her toddler.

Your child may be referred to Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist for assessment and management of a variety of conditions, including:

Our staff are trained to perform skin prick testing.
If indicated after our consultation, we offer skin prick testing as our preferred method to diagnose IgE-mediated allergies, in conjunction with clinical history

If indicated, we offer supervised oral food challenges

We offer immunotherapy for treatment of conditions such as severe allergic rhinitis due to dust or pollen allergy and certain food allergies.
